Copyright and takedown requests
Last updated September 22, 2026
Listing information and photographs on this site come from the Spokane Association of REALTORS®, distributed by MLS Grid. The photographs belong to the people who took them or to the listing brokerage, not to us. If something of yours is here and should not be, tell us and we will take it down.
Where to send a notice
Write to Amplify Real Estate Services, marking it for the attention of the copyright agent:
- Amplify Real Estate Services (Beal Estate NW)
- aaron@bealestatenw.com
- 1311 N Washington St Suite A, Spokane WA 99201
What to include
Federal law asks a takedown notice to contain six things. Missing one will not make us ignore you, but including them lets us act immediately:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- What the copyrighted work is — the photograph, the listing copy, the floor plan.
- Where it appears on this site. A link to the page is enough, and it is the fastest thing you can give us.
- How to reach you: address, telephone number and email.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use was not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and — under penalty of perjury — that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act for them.
The notice the MLS rules require
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998, 17 U.S.C. § 512 (the “DMCA”) provides recourse for copyright owners who believe that material appearing on the Internet infringes their rights under U.S. copyright law. If you believe in good faith that any content or material made available in connection with our website or services infringes your copyright, you (or your agent) may send us a notice requesting that the content or material be removed, or access to it blocked. Notices must be sent in writing by email to: aaron@bealestatenw.com.
The DMCA requires that your notice of alleged copyright infringement include the following information: (1) description of the copyrighted work that is the subject of claimed infringement; (2) description of the alleged infringing content and information sufficient to permit us to locate the content; (3) contact information for you, including your address, telephone number and email address; (4) a statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the content in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, or its agent, or by the operation of any law; (5) a statement by you, signed under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you have the authority to enforce the copyrights that are claimed to be infringed; and (6) a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf. Failure to include all of the above information may result in the delay of the processing of your complaint.
What we do about it
We remove or disable access to the material promptly, and we tell whoever supplied it.
Where the material arrived through the MLS feed, we forward your notice to MLS Grid at DMCAnotice@MLSGrid.com within 24 hours of receiving it, and we notify the Spokane Association of REALTORS®.
If you think we got it wrong
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. It needs your signature, identification of what was removed and where it appeared, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was taken down in error. Say that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address — or, if you are outside the United States, for the Eastern District of Washington — and that you will accept service from the person who complained.
Repeat infringement
Accounts that repeatedly infringe are closed. That is the whole policy; the site has no user-uploaded content, so in practice this concerns the feed rather than accounts.
